I cannot ping resolver1.dyndnsinternetguide.com (216.146.35.35). Neither can a number of ping tools I've tried - e.g. http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=ping&host=216.146.35.35 Does anyone know how long it's been down? Does anyone know how long until it's back up? Cheers ~ wyrdR

It is not down. "ping" is not useful as a diagnostic tool across the Internet. It uses ICMP packets, which are very commonly ignored (blocked). If you run the command below from a command prompt/terminal window, you'll see for yourself that you get a response from 216.146.35.35.

I´m from Portugal and resolver1.dyndnsinternetguide.com is NOT responding to ping, and is NOT resolving names. I had it as my primary dns and had to change for resolver2.dyndnsinternetguide.com Fine from here. Remember that ping is not a useful diagnostic tool and in future please open your own thread.
