I have a free DynDNS account, and setup on my LinkSYS WRT54GL router. When my DSL change to to another external IP address, my DynDNS IP address change to an internal IP address 192.168.1.64. What cause the problem? I ping 192.168.1.64, looks like it is a valid ipaddress, because I get response. Is it DSL modem? My Router subnet is 192.168.2.xxx. Thanks

My LlinkSYS router ddns works before. I think the problem comes out when I changed to a new DSL modem.

Your Linksys router assumes that is is the WAN connected device, you have to use another device, either your modem or a software client.
In that case it may have been that your old modem was in bridge mode. Check the documentation of your new modem to see if it supports that and if so put the modem into bridge mode.
