Linksys SSL-VPN

I'm trying to set up remote access to an office computer...and am not doing something right! I've tried to elaborate on what I've done in the next paragraph but am addressing this community in hopes that someone has had a similar experience when using the Linksys SSL VPN router...where I suspect the problem lies.

It's a DSL connection being routed through a Linksys SSL VPN router (RVL 200). I believe I've set up everything at DynDNS.org. The router has a DDNS option in which I set up the username, etc. I set up a client on the desktop PC (necessary if the router is doing this?) and "think" that I've opened up a required port (3389) on the router after I couldn't remote in. I've looked over the guidance offered at DynDNS; my attempt fails on step 1 but also fails on step 1 with my home computer that is using DynDNS w/o a problem. I've used an online tool found at http://www.webcamsoft.com/ddns/chkPort.aspx and it indicates that port 3389 is being blocked...which I think must be at the router level. I'm using AVG security software and don't see anything there that looks like a problem.

I probably missed providing some important information needed to get to the bottom of this so...ask away! Any and all assistance would really be appreciated.
