[Closed] IP address cannot update

HI,

IP address wont update automatically, it shows 220.255.0.40. the ip address of the router is different.

I've got the same problem with an IP camera. Strange IP addresses registered and camera won't show. IP addresses will only update correctly if I start the DynDns updater, which requires me to keep the commuter running if . This problem is new ! Worked fine earlier !? Using Max OS 10.7.2 and Lates DynDns updater

Did you configure any update client? If not then there is no way for DynDNS's servers to know that your IP changed. If your router has a working update client built in then you can use it, otherwise you will have to install a software client.
