booted to innactivity why? and no paid but cant transfer old ip to new account!

hi guys have used a dns name ok for a while, used every day (prob every minute) and got booted due to 'innactivity'

had an email sent to me 5 days before, but i was on hols so not able to read it till now!

have now paid for 1 yr pro account, but when i come to transfer my old no ip domain name i get a message simular to allready found on database and i cant use it!!!

think what has happened is that my domain name (kicks-ass.net) is now only avialable in the pro version and they have booted me from using it cos i was using the free unpaid version. so their ploy is to say ive not been using it to boot me from that list lol

how can i now transfer my info to use it as this is the only reason ive paid as i dont want to have to change all 18 pc's i have set up and down country as its a majour pain!

cheers ian

If you have DynDNS Pro now, and the old hostname cannot be registered, then probably either some other user has registered it (have you tried querying the hostname to see if it's in use?) or it hasn't been completely freed yet in the system, after it expired.

As we can't help you with account specific issues here, I recommend contacting DynDNS Support about this (if the old hostname doesn't seem to be in active use by someone else).
