I purchased a domain, and was trying to add it to my EveryDNS account but whenever I do, I get "Domain domain.com already exists in database.". I pointed the record to EveryDNS before I registered it. So I contacted support at dyndns and no answer. I then change the DNS servers to point to the registrars to show that I do own it, but I still receive the same error. I again contacted support and no response. I tried contacting them one more time, and yet no response again. I am a paid member of EveryDNS, so I should be able to receive support. Anybody with a solution or maybe an Admin trolling around can help? Thanks, Corey

Shortly after sending an e-mail to support[at]dyndns.com, you should receive an automatic reply, confirming that your message has been received (along with a ticket number). Did you receive the auto-reply? Actually I used the support@everydns.net which is what the site says still to use. I will try the DynDNS one and see if that makes a difference. And yes, I did receive an auto reply for the email address posted above from DynDNS. Well it has been over 24 hours and haven't received a response again.

Dear sir, I have the same problem as Corey and get a ticket as '[DynDNS #1340535]'. Could this be fixed by ourself and auto-checked by system via some validation? Thank you. BR. Phoebus Kao

Yup, you helped me this morning. I tried posting that last night but for some reason it wouldn't let me. My original email to support was close to a month ago. I didn't send it to support[at]dyndns[dot]com, but support[at]everydns[dot]com as the EveryDNS site still says to do. Anyway, I appreciate your help in the manner and everything should be resolved now. Thanks, Corey

Corey, I responded to every ticket that was open in EveryDNS Support queue this morning. If your ticket was in there, you should have something in your inbox. I actually recall helping out on a ticket regarding a similar issue, so maybe that was you. If I didn't respond, post your ticket number and I will be glad to take a look at what happened. For future reference, for donating users it can take up to 4-6 days to get a response from EveryDNS support. The auto responder you get in return states this information. Free EveryDNS customers will need to get support from EveryDNSCommunity.com.

Did you contact them from an email address belonging to a registered address, using the contact details published for DynDNS? I've never waited more than 24 hours, even for trivial stuff, so (in my experience) it's unusual to wait so long.
