What services do I need for the following? We want to track our client's IP addresses, but have them attached to our domain name. (i.e. client.ourname.com) Can we do this if we register through dyndns for the domain name? Or do we have to do client.ourname.dyndns.com? I am looking at the info and it seems I need to either get the custom dns or the dns pro. Sorry for being an idiot, but I am just starting to learn. Any help would be appreciated!

You probably actually want the Dynect platform instead. With Custom DNS (for your own domain) you'd have to configure all the update clients with the username and password for your DynDNS account, that would give your clients full access to your DynDNS account, domain registration etc. With Dynect you can create an update account for each client, removing that security risk. With Dynect (or Custom DNS) you could create names for your clients to suit you, whether they were of the form clientname.example.com, name.clients.example.com, or whatever suits you.
