General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients

Update Clients known to work with DynDNS.com

One of the most common issues for our users is a bad update client. Although it should be easy to develop an update client to work with our services (If the IP address changes, send update. If not, don't send update) we know this isn't always the case.

We have a list of update clients on DynDNS.com that we have tested ourselves and certified. However, there are more devices and clients out there that work just fine but have not been tested by us. Have a device that works without sending abusive updates? List it here.

The whole "Fritz Box" family of routers from AVM (www.avm.de) for DSL or cable in Germany supports DynDNS pretty flawlessly. However, they only update on IP change, so for fairly static IPs like on a cable network, one could run into an inactivity time-out.

You forgot to mention that it is paid for software for Windows ;) Have you confirmed that it is correctly behaved and doesn't lead to abuse blocks?
