I have read through all the guides and other questions posted here. But I still cannot find how to get my system working correctly. I am sure I must have missed a step somewhere and I hope you can help.
I have KGuard dvr system. It is connected directly to my ADSL (Tactio Altera-04G). I also have a PC connected to this ADSL.
On my PC, I installed the dyns client update and I see that my WAN ip is 112.142.xx.xx On the KGuard dvr, I set a static IP of 192.168.xx.xx. I can access my dvr from PC.
I have forwarded the port 80 and 9000 of the ip of the dvr in the router. I have used the recommended PPortChecker software and it says that my port 80 is open. I am also able to ping my dvr from my pc.
But whenever I type in my dyndns host name from another network, I get to see my router instead of my dvr.
What have I missed here?

You've apparently missed the guide that covered that ;)
