I am trying to create new email accounts using my domain name that I have through DynDNS.com. I created a Custom Domain Name. The thing is, the domain name I have is a webhop to the roadrunner servers. I have no clue how to create email accounts using my domain name. My website address is actually: home.roadrunner.com/~einsvanian Webhop domain name is: einsvanianmanufacturing.com I would like to setup email accounts that use: (examples) "sales@einsvanian.com or sales@einsvanianmanufacturing.com" I perfer to use the short version "sales@einsvanian.com". Since I already registered my domain and my website is up and running, what else do I need to do to get these email accounts setup or created and to start sending and recieving emails? Does DynDNS.com provide these services? I see it provides mailhop outbound, is this what I am looking for? Also, will I need to create a webmail server to be able to create email accounts? And what is MX Mail Exchangers, is this what I am looking for? I have no clue what to do, any help will be appreciated. Thank you. V/R Paul Eiselstein President Einsvanian Manufacturing, Inc.

Can I suggest that, given your level of knowledge you've chosen the hardest solution for getting your email running. If you'd gone down the route of getting somebody else to run the mail service you'd be up and running by now. If you're not familiar with running a mail server you're also likely to run into problems with lost email while you get it working. Also, have you remembered to arrange for MailHop Forward, or a similar service, so you can send email from your mail server without it being rejected? The hostname you use will be the hostname you've configured in either Custom DNS or Dynamic DNS to be updated by your chosen update client. It will look something like Do read and work through this guide for setting up port forwarding so your mail server is accessible from the Internet.

Use MX Toolbox to test your mail server before updating your MX records. The MX records must contain the full hostname that points to your mail server. That certainly won't be

Since you're using Custom DNS you're pretty much there (though I note that You've got a number of options.
If you indicate which is you're preferred option I (or somebody else) can provide more information.
