I'm using DynDNS for about 30 hosts I have installed remotely. The only way to acces them is via SSH, and I need DynDNS on each Wrt54GL router. They have default firmware, and the thing is many of them are not accesible. Some report "weird server response" or something similar. I was thinking of changing their firmware with DD-WRT. Could this resolve my issue? I've been using DD-WRT on other routers and it proved flawless, but I'm not sure where the problem resides here, it's the DynDNS server or the router to blame? Thanks

DD-WRT's update client works fine (it's inadyn) and it's certainly a better firmware than the default in my experience. However it may not be the source of your problems. For each problem location try working through this sticky and see if the problem is your update client, or something else.
