using dyndns router with dvrns dvr

Please help!!!! I have an old 4ch dvr with ONLY dvrns build in and NOT ddns BUT i have a router with ddns support. I setup a host mydvr.dyndns.org at my dsl router (192.168.1.1) and forward the port 10088 to the internal dvr ip (192.168.1.100)

When i ping outside the lan i get ping reply from the router when i ping dvr from INSIDE the lan i get ping reply BUT i cant get any reply from iexplorer (to see the connection screen) or any active x request to install). before 1 month i use to login from the dvrns.net but the account expire and i d love to use only dyndns services

any ideas why dvr work only with dvrns??? is there any way to use the dyndns host from router?? or see dvr using local ip for start??

ANY help will be appreciated !!!!! Antonis

Please don't use made up hostnames, somebody else may be using them and it just confuses the issue

Are you remembering to add the port to the hostname? That is, are you using http://mydvr.example.org:10088/ to connect?

Then please work through this sticky and if you need further help edit your question to include all the information listed at the end of that guide.
