Hi, I am trying to setup my dyndns account on my modem router Huawei Echolife HG520c. I have seen that other users, that have the same modem router and have posted in this forum, have succeeded. In the configuration there is no predefined option for dyndns or any other service provider. There is a free-text Service Provider field. I would really appreciate if you could instruct me what value I should use there. Regards, Akis P.S. Is there any way that I could send a message to a user in this forum?

See [this question]. So no, it doesn't seem your router has a DDNS feature. : http://www.dyndnscommunity.com/questions/6749/where-do-i-find-the-ddns-feature-on-a-huawei-hg520.html

This forum does not support private messaging (which, personally, is a good thing since it avoids the constant stream of requests for personal help). However, as for your problem - if you were to provide a link to the PDF of the manual, or at least a screen capture of the setup page, then we may be able to help you. Without that you'll be better off asking on a Huawei forum, where at least people may know the product.
