I have a small website hosted in my home server, which has dynamic IP from the ISP. The ISP changes my home home ip about once every 3 months. I am using free DYN updater to get a static hostname mapping to my home ip. However, in Godaddy's nameserver A record, I can only enter dynamic ip, not the hostname. Once the ISP changes my home ip, my web site will not work, and I have to change the nameserver to point to the new ip. My questions are 1. Is there any service that Dyn provide so that I can solve this issue without transfering domain register in GoDaddy? 2. Is there any way I can get email notification as soon as my dynamic ip changed, so that I can act quickly to change the nameserver record? Thanks!

You can't run a nameserver on a dynamic IP address. You can leave your domain registration where it is and move your DNS to Standard DNS. Then you'll be able to have your web site's IP address updated by your update client directly.
