Hi, I've a new router, that updates DDNS every 30 minutes (the IP changes only every 24 hours). There are no options to change the update time, and the support of the routers manufacturer confirmed that. It doesn't look like they will change this in the future. Now the question: When I buy a DDNS Pro account, does it work with abusive updates every 30 minutes? I've only found this statement: "Increase your update abuse threshold", which doesn't say anything about accepted update time. Thanks

You'll have to ask DynDNS directly to identify the exact limits (though they may not share them). I wouldn't be surprised if they don't however. It might be worth replacing the router with one less broken.
