I have recently followed the instructions for setting up Custom DNS with an Apple Airport Extreme, as documented here: https://www.dyndns.com/support/kb/apple_airport_with_custom_dns.html This works fine for my IPv4 address (A type record), but I notice this isn't working for my IPv6 address (AAAA type record). My router has a IPv6 address, via 6to4, that can be accessed from other IPv6 networks. Essentially what I see is that the type A record is getting updated, but not the AAAA type record. Is this a limitation of the router or of DynDNS's service? Is there any way I can get this working?

You may want to contact DynDNS (since this is a user to user forum) and check to see if Custom DNS supports updating of IPv6 addresses. The HTTP interface for updates doesn't seem to support IPv6 (based off of the documentation) though it looks like the TSIG interface (as used in that guide) may. If you're able to sniff the traffic (using the likes of Wireshark) leaving the Airport then that should also help you work out what's going on.
