I'm using a 8-CH DVR with h.264 formatting....unfortunately, I can only view it using a my Iphone and a software namely NetViewer, which come together with the DVR when i'm outside the home network. I can't view it using Internet Explorer and it returns "Internet Explorer Cannot Display The Webpage"...The weird thing was, I'm able to view it right after the DVR was installed, then the second days of the installation, it gone....but when I try using the NetViewer or my Iphone again, it still can view the DVR....please help...thx

Does the NetViewer work from the same computer that the web browser doesn't work from? Is the iPhone connected to your WiFi when it works, or are you testing via the mobile network?

Yup, the NetViewer work from the same computer that the web browser doesn't work from....Iphone everything connection to the wifi via the mobile netwok, while home pc using the same network connection as it does using NetViewer...
Sounds like you've only forwarded the ports required for NetViewer, and that the port isn't port 80 (the default port for using your web browser). What do you type into the web browser when you want to access the DVR from the LAN?
i keyed in 192.168.1.7 from LAN (this as well do not work the time it failed using WAN network)
If that fails on the LAN it won't work from the WAN - please read the guide again. Have you ensured that the DVR has a fixed IP address on your LAN?
as i already forwarded port 80 and the port was successfully forwarded as i could c it using www.canyouseeme.org....the weird thing was that it is solved when i restart the DVR....and i knew that it shouldn't in this way...any solution?
If it suddenly worked when you restarted the DVR then it sounds like a problem with your DVR. I'd check to see if the manufacturer has provided a firmware update, or look to a better DVR.
