I followed all the listed instructions but according to my computer DynDNS nor its components are no longer installed. However, when I use the DynDNS support to troubleshoot it says that Internet Guide AND Defense Plan are on my computer. I only tried this several months ago when I was having difficulty logging on a few sites because of the security certificates. The problem was resolved and I closed my account with DynDNS and uninstalled the updater. To me this is now "infecting" my computer as it is blocking me from common sites that I never had a problem visiting before. I need to know how to rectify this without having to return my system to factory default.

Please see this identical question. If you still have the Internet Guide active it can only be because you have configured, and are using, the Internet Guide DNS servers.
